i own a repair shop,and all you need is the bulb part of it,it just turns out from the back of it,and put the new one in it,be care full and don't touch the actual bulb part of it,your not supposed to touch them with your fingers hold it with a cloth rag or something but the old one just pulls out and the new on goes right in,and that's all there is to it,,good luck,i hope this help,s.How to change a headlight in a new Volkswagen Beetle?The headlight housing must be removed from the fender. 98-05 models have a plastic lever with a safety button. 06 and newer have a small metal locking pin 3/16%26quot; as a primary lock and a 4%26quot; metal lever as a secondary lock.
