How hard is it to change headlight switch on a 77 corvette?

My 77 vette panel lights wont come on and the over head light wont come on either. I imagine its the headlight switch. Ive checked the fuses and the headlights still work. Any help?How hard is it to change headlight switch on a 77 corvette?I would imagine the switch knob can be pulled out by pushing a release button on top of the light switch controller. It's just behind the dash. You'll have to reach up and find it.



Once the handle AND SHAFT pull out, you can then remove the retaining knob from the front of the dash where the handle and shaft came out.



After you unscrew the retaining knob, the light switch unit should come right out. Carefully unplug the wire harness.



To install the new one, just repeat the steps in reverse. NOTE: You can push the knob and shaft back in without having to push the release button. The shaft will automatically lock in.How hard is it to change headlight switch on a 77 corvette?http://www.automotiveforums.com/f111-corvette.html
